Farrier Update: Glushu for horse with laminitis and long toes.

Thanks to farrier Ilka Slabik for updating us on her Glushu client using glue on horse shoes to help with laminitis and muscle problems. Please check out Ilkas work on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ilka.slabik

If you have a horse who needs extra support in their hooves please contact us to discuss how Glushu can help.

From Ilka:

“This horse has laminitis and very thin soles on both front hooves and was about to break through with the coffin bones on both sides.

The hind hooves weren’t properly trimmed for years, so the long wall of the toes made standing and walking difficult.

After hoof correction, the horse was treated osteopathically. As a result of long periods of incorrect trim, massive blockages had set in the whole body.

I have fitted Glushu glue on horse shoes to offer support and comfort for their thin soles during recovery.

You can see here hooves from February and the difference in June.”
