From Richard:

“Here is some info about how I used GLUSHU’s on fronts and stapled hind quarter crack.

This young thoroughbred has been struggling barefoot due to thin soles and walls. With assistance of PA farrier Stephanie Mediate we opted to apply Glushu fronts.

These shoes are designed for drive in studs but I chose to use a smaller traction option. I drilled holes in the heel and back punched them to allow me to recess tungsten carbide tipped nails.

Once applied we did an open pour of Pack-Seal with thrush buster applied to the frog underneath. Challenging application due to 18° temps Sunday.

The left hind had a significant quarter crack. I used a plastic welder to burn staples in. We then followed up with thrush buster in the crack then applied glu-u adhesive. Once cured it was sanded down smooth to the wall.

This horse is so much happier and I 100% recommend Glushu.”
