Farrier Report: Glushu for cracked hoof.

“A good looking warmblood was brought in Tierklinik Lüsche for a check.

A high low case as we so often see. Because of those misalignments predictable cracks have developed, in the high foot of course a toe crack and a heel crack in the low foot.

The cracks were stable with the present shoeing, so we decided not to pull out all stops working on those cracks just yet. Judging by the modifications by my colleague on the high foot the horse tends to pull shoes.

Let see if the horse is better with this set up. I used GluShu because the state of the hoof wall didn't allow for any safe nailing.
